There are two ways to acquire coupons online. There are free sites where you install a coupon printer and can print the coupons from your computer. There are also sites that sell coupons. For example it may be for 2 cents you can get a 25 cents off coupon. As general rule I do not think buying coupons is a good idea except on very specifc items. Below are links to both free prinatble coupons and sites where you buy coupons. Please look at the tips for the reason I avoid buying coupons.

	This is a site where you purchase coupons. They are a real company, and send the items you purchase quickly. You have to pay for postage, and there is a minimum purchase.

Get an online bank savings account which earns 3.25% interest. The highest interest rate for a savings account I have seen. They do supply an atm card to get the money out in a hurry, although normal bank to bank transfer takes 3 days.

Do not buy a product only because you have the coupon. This sounds like common sense, but it is an easy rule to break.

Do not buy coupons online unless you know for a fact you are going to buy that item. Example, my cats (spoiled kittens that they are) refuse to eat any wet food except Meow Mix pouches and Fancy Feast cans, so a coupon for either of those brands is good. I will definitely use it. Where as a coupon for Red Baron pizza might not be as good, because I will eat almost any brand of frozen pizza and the coupon may not make it the best deal on frozen pizza that week.

Consider shopping at an additional store for added savings. Example (also about my cats) if I buy Meow mix pouches at the grocery they are 5.49 not on sale for a package of 12, but up the street at the pet store the same boxes are 3.99. For some items this is a good strategy.

When an item that does nto go bad like canned soup, or frozen foods is on sale, stock up. Try to buy enough to last till the next sale if you have space.

When shopping online, do a google search for retailer name and promotional coupon code before completing your transaction. At least half the time you will find some sort of discount is available.

Tip of the week: Check to see if there is a freecycle group in your area. Freecycles are where people give away items they don't need anymore. I have seen many items being given away from books, clothes, jars, furniture and appliances.

Switch your light bulbs to the compact fluorescents. Buy this from a hardware store like Lowes or Home Depot to get the best deal on the light bulbs.
